As per 'Bloomberg New Energy Finance', the global EV sales increased by 63% year-to-year of 2016. This new record was created because of the booming EV market in China.
As per the data, the sales volume of new energy vehicles was more than 287 thousands units globally. More than half of the volume is contributed by China. Europe is the second biggest market of EV and Northern America is the third biggest market.
It's estimated that the global sales volume of electric vehicle may reach 1 million units.
