Suzhou, China — April 2026
In celebration of the Qingming Festival, Lexsong recently organized a cultural team-building activity that brought employees together to experience one of China’s traditional seasonal customs — making Qingtuan (green rice dumplings).
The event aimed to honor traditional Chinese heritage while strengthening team cohesion across the company. Employees participated in the entire preparation process, from mixing glutinous rice dough infused with fresh green plant juice, to preparing sweet and savory fillings, and shaping the signature green dumplings by hand.
Qingtuan, traditionally eaten during the Qingming Festival, symbolizes remembrance and the arrival of spring. The activity allowed participants to not only learn about its cultural significance but also enjoy a hands-on experience of this seasonal food.
During the event, employees worked in groups, sharing techniques and collaborating in a relaxed atmosphere. Many participants noted that it was their first time making Qingtuan themselves, making the experience both educational and engaging.
Lexsong management stated that such cultural activities are part of the company’s ongoing efforts to promote employee engagement and preserve traditional festivals within the workplace environment, especially as the company continues to expand its international business operations.
After the activity, employees gathered to taste the freshly made Qingtuan together, marking a warm and meaningful conclusion to the celebration.
The Qingming Festival event reflects Lexsong’s continued focus on balancing corporate development with cultural appreciation and team well-being.
